Here is the issue from the start...
had to replace the ignition coil... OK there goes $700 out the window. But also I am having some electrical problems still. The sunroof will not work and the radio(factory) works only when the car is not running. The fuse blows immediately after replacing. When you go to start the car you can almost hear a click. Someone told me it was a relay. Is that possible and how much can those run to replace?

Does anyone know what is happenin?

I am living away from home and do not have a reliable mechanic to work on the car. I went to the caddy dealer and they wanted to charge $2200 just for the replacing of the ignition coil. I told them to go jump in the lake. Minus the explitives!

The relays and maxifuses are in the engine compartment, in a triangle end shaped box sitting ontop of the battery... check those. Also, there are fuses underneath the steeringwheel.. that massive pad that protects your knees, two (or four?) screws and that panel comes off, revealing a fuse patch.

When they replaced a coil.. what was that for? Miss-firing, etc?

They could have hurt something in the system if they tested for voltage the wrong way, a spark can hurt the car's computers .

Unfortunately I was having those problems before. And yes it was misfiring and felt like you were dragging a ton brick behind the car when you excellerated.
