Concepts, Rumors and MORE! :) The SLS is rolling around in China as well - there's just too little activity to set it up as a main forum...

yeah think of us poor Brits ! where fuels is going up and up !

Diesel 1.11 a litre thats approx $1.73 a litre (not a gallon!!)

And that, is why I could NEVER live in the UK.

$1.73 US per litre equates to $6.54 a gallon.

I'd take $3 gas over that any day.

thats why i drive the BLS diesel and not the 2.8 V6 !

Why? What's the difference in fuel economy and then diesel vs. regular? Is it really that much?

a LOT I can get about 50-55mpg on the diesel I think the V6 was below 30 !

We drove to Disneyland Paris from Home approx 500 miles on just under 3/4 of a tank of desiel with some high mph on the French Highways

Stingroo, your math is backwards. The UK gallon is bigger than the US one.

(From Wikipedia)
1 UK gallon = 1.2 US gallons. So... 1 UK mile per gallon = .833 US MPG.

46 UK MPG x .833 = 38.3 US MPG. Nice, but hardly mind blowing.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miles_per_gallon
