Hey guys,
I have a bad intake mani pressure relief valve.
I also have the service manual and can't find any reference to it.

Anyone know what it is called in the book or where to
get info on replacing?

I think it is called an overpressurization relief valve. Not sure where it is though. I'd try Engine, Mechanical section. Then look for reference to the manifold.

Maybe the name should the "piss flap" valve?

This valve is in the end of the intake manifold. You have to pull intake, remove the fuel rail and twist over-pressure valve a quarter turn and the pop it out with something long enough to go through the intake(after you take throttle body off) you probly only need to replace o-ring.

I suspect the O-ring. I can push the end of the valve in and out a little.
Take the IM off? :banghead:
It comes out the end but have to push something through the mani to do it?
:mad2:

thank you

Just take the power steering pump off the end of the engine, then you'll have all the access you need to the over pressure valve. You don't have to pull the manifold, just the beauty cover.
