Sounds like you need new friends, the girlfriend can stay if she's worth it. Overall nice Caddy still. One favor to ask/demand...CHANGE THAT TIRE!!! or put it on the back driver side.

I can't get enough of that two-tone! I have a soft spot for the '84s. So much that I have an '84 Coupe! As for the nice marks your room-mate put in her, I'd be getting a body shop quote and handing him a bill for it. Great car, man!

I wanted to do that but he is a broke ass! I dont even know what he is upto now. I actually was lookin for a $500 beater to ride around in and then I looked in the cadillac ads in the local paper and saw the add for this. 1984 Sedan DeVille with 39,125 Original miles. First $3500 takes it so I decided to drive and see it. As soon as I saw her I knew she was mine. My grandpa had a Blue one that he left to me in his will but my mom did not want to drive it down from Iowa so she sold it. Broke my heart and I have wanted one ever since. When I move to TX in July of this year I will have a lot of extra money to get her back to were she needs to be.
I know I need some new tires but I had to get her to pass emissions first before I do that. I needed a new computer, ISC, and TPS. My mechanic put the computer in for $400 and a caddi shop did the ISC and TPS for $150. I think I came out pretty good!

i like how your willing to show the flaws most plp hide that, i have a 84 too theyre really easy to work on, ive never had anyone work on mine but me. oh and it looks as if your trunk motor is out or is that just me. if it is hit a local junk yard any pull down motor from a 1980-1993 cadillac will work theyre all the same

The trunk motor is fine. The trunk is lifted right there because the holes were the bolts connect to the arms got bent somehow and I had to put washers in there to get it too sit flush. I need to adjust it again and maybe get a new trunk sometime down the road.

Thanks guys but dont let the pics fool you. The paint job is pretty much toast especially on the hood. It is spiderwebbed is the best I can describe it. I will try to get some close ups on the paint on the hood to show you what I am talking about. I lover he sooooooooo much and I have not been able to take care of her like I want to but I just got a promotion at work and might get another raise so I should be on my way to restoring her. The last thing I am going to do is put some big rims on her but that is after she is no longer my DD.

Are those the wire hubcaps or the actual wheels? If they're the hubcaps, I'd put rims on it too honestly.. but something cool, with a Cadillac center cap. :)

As least you don't have any chips, from what I can see..
I've got chips on basically every panel except the 2 front fenders and the hood.

Na I am just an Army bratt! I am moving back to El Paso because I lived there for 17 years and my mom is going to be moving to Iowa so she is going to let me live in her 4 bedroom house that is paid off while she is in Iowa. I am also going to graduate with my BA in June and believe it or not there are a lot of jobs there for management which is what my degree is in so I should be able to get a decent job while I live rent free for 5 to 10 years so I can save up some money. What part of TX are you moving too?
