Just purchased a used Pearl White 2004 Escalade. To cut a long story short, I see some faint differences in paint color on some of the doors (I think both passenger and drivers side) and even on the driver's side front panel. How can I determine if it was ever hit and was taken to a body shop for some work? Is there something specific that I need to look for in between the doors when I open them? The vehicle has a clean carfax and all, but as we all know, that doesn't really mean anything these days.
Take some detailed pictures (10 megapixels if possible) and I may be able to tell you. Send the pics to dantheautobodyman@gmail.com I work in a shop for a living and can spot a repaint from a mile away in most cases.
That good eh? OK, I will take some pictures for you. Let's see if you can tell the difference. Thanks Bud!
