I have a 4GB iPod that plays great and charges in the V. Want to upgrade to an 8GB or 16GB iPod Nano (either 4th or 5th generation). But I know that some older chargers don't work with the newer iPods. Can anyone confirm that newer iPods can be charged in the V?

You can get thumb drives with more memory than that. No need to charge those...

My 16GB thumb drive keeps screwing up the radio. It gets stuck on a searching screen, then finally decides there aren't any mp3s on the flash. Can't be fixed until you turn the car off and back on.

My 3rd gen nano won't work at all.

I have a 3rd gen nano in my V and it works great--and it charges. Just looking to find out if 4th and 5th generations will also charge.

I have a 40GB now called a "classic" that was the first of the larger color screens. Charges fine.
