Hey guys, put the new grille and rotors on! I love the look. (yes, it was 27* out when i did them)
You'll also notice the new chrome lug bolts! they really shine. The rotors help like crazy when it's wet out. Also ordered these to match with the rotors. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370305061175&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
I like the look of the grille too! The gold matches my side badges. Plus the purple windshield tint really makes it look aggressive. Got it off an 01 and cost me 180 installed for the windshield. Not too shabby. :bouncy: LMK what you guys think. Blacked out the fogs and side markers too.

I want your side skirts...I like the grille but would like it better with vertical bars on the outside outline it. Your headlights look brand new, did you recondition them?

Ha ha, yeah, they have a nice flair to them. The headlights were buffed out after i got the car ans the passenger side is getting a little hazy again. It's always the passenger side... I didn't make the grille, it actually looks like a solid "panel" from a distance. I like it because it was made specifically cor the cateras and i like the gold emblems on a black car. I got mine for 50shipped. Another one just sold double that on ebay. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270498050437&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT)

Looks awesome, that grille looks cool too, seems a lot of caddy owners opt up to them not sure quite why since the few I have seen on escalades look out of place but on your car it seems to fit well.
Do you get any light out of the fog lights? You should go to DDMTuning.com and order a pair of 3000k HIDs they run 30$ and should put out a little more light.
My HIDs in my fogs entirely overpower the headlights and are just too much for night driving... good for when you want to get someone out of your way though.
I was out hunting for those side skirts and then i found a pair, and quickly gave up when i compared them to the ones on my 01 sport. The current ones are thick and uniform all the way to the back where the ones you have tend to look kind of skinny in teh middle and that flare totally doesnt match the lines of the rear bumper so to many they may be a appointment.

That grille looks great. Perfect match for the chrome hood trim.
How do you like the brake discs? I have the same ones if yours came from Brake Performance. Mine are slotted and dimpled with black zinc finish. I love them. Until the pads wore the zinc off the swept area they took forever to stop the car but after they grab like the dickens. That's the grip of the dimples. The slots make a big difference in the rain. I don't have them on the rear yet. Someday.

I notice you do not have the regular lower airdam plastic vent, are you thinking about putting some mesh in there or something, I think that would look pretty sharp. Or a bar style one to match the grille.

MV6: Thanks! Yeah, i was really worried when i orders it that it was gonna look cheap, cheesy, or trashy but i am really satisfied with the look when i got it on. I have seen a lot of cars where the grille just makes them look goofy. The fogs cut out about 40% of my light but i was planning on stripping them down and re-doing them. It was very cold when i did them so the paint blotted together making it very thick. I will look into the hid's. I was wanting them for my headlights but held off because i was thinking about upgrading to projectors. I love what you've done with yours! I thought the rear bumpers were pretty well the same on the pre and post facelifts? I will have to take a look between my 99 and my dad's 01 tomorrow. (they're both sports!)
Elvin: Thanks! I love the rotors. I can't wait for my gto calipers! They make a HUGE difference in the rain and it is noticeable even when dry! I also purchased front and rears but i was dark when i finally finished the fronts so the rears will be another day. I wish i would have ordered mine coated but i will clean them down and paint them when i get the calipers.
Matera: I had taken the air dam out to paint it to match the oem sport grille so right now it is out of the car ans painted a flat silver. I was thinking of painting it chrome to match my side trim or back to the black with a mesh over it. Any suggestions?

I actually got them from TRI-Net motorsports (http://www.trinetmotorsports.com/) front and back for 111.00 But if i have issues with them then i will order the next pair from Brake Performance with the lifetime warranty! I hope that will not be an issue though. Mine seemed very sturdy so we'll see when the time comes.
