Nice looking car. Would look good in my driveway here in FL. I love those white interiors! The ghetto tint and window louvers are terrible! :)

No... Just make the text bigger so people can see it.

I'm sure the louvers could be removed. As far as the window tint goes, at least it hasn't turned purple and started flaking off... :suspense:

lol, Sven. Maybe I'll see if I can make the letters change rainbow colours.

I think I'll just start merging all these threads. Starting tomorrow. I'm tired... and I can't stop thinking of a 64 Impala SS that I want to buy.

Ok, back OT. Or, off topic. Or, whatever.

Be still my heart, I used to own a 64 chevy s.s. many years ago, I wish I still had it, I see them for sale once in awhile, but they are sure expensive, how much are they asking for the one your looking at?.

Is it a 409? I have always wanted a 409 powered Impala.

I always liked the factory chrome window vent-shades...

^^ Me too. I'm also fond of dark tint but mostly because of my horrendous eyesight.

I like the louvre shades too....I'd like some for my 91 Brougham, but haven't been able to find any.

I hate that white interior....it doesn't look right to me. I like the memory setting on the driver's seat! Neither my 91 or 92 Broughams had that option, and one would think it would be standard.

Finally, what is that chrome lever on the front passenger seat?

Manual recliner. One hell of a car, you think hell get the asking price?

Really? I love them on my car. I bought the window vents for $50 about 4 months ago (http://www.automotiveconcepts.net/store/Cadillac-Brougham_product_11228049.html?utm_medium=shopping engine&utm_source=googlebase) and had the rear windows tinted about 6 months ago. Its 15% which is the same as factory tint on an SUV or minivan. It makes the car look like a limousine. Even my sister commented when riding in the back one night that it is like your own personal room back there.

those little window things are awesome, too. you can ride with your window down a little bit while it's raining and not get soaked! I had them on my old crown vic

Why is the AutoCheck Score so low?

Why is the AutoCheck Score so low?

Because a lot of the information for AutoCheck is listed as no record. Also there is a record of a lien being put on the title back in '94.

Dirt Cheap Fleetwood,

Your tint and window treatments look phenomenal. I think the tint truly complements Broughams in the lighter colors, too, offering some contrast. Did you consider all four doors, or just the rears? I am considering having it done.

I was not a fan of the lighter Brougham colors (always wanted a Diplomat Blue like my '88), yet I recently bought a '92 d'elegance w/ 305 in the Light Sapphire Blue. The color has really grown on me, and it's striking when washed/waxed and finely detailed.

Nonetheless, your mods are tasteful, elegant, and classy.

my '87 when I first bought it. has since been repainted with some body work. Also replaced the egg crate grille with the cascading one.

Still looking for a back bumper, though :(

Outsider,

It's amazing how much more inviting the velour interior looks than leather when the snow and frigid temps come. Your interior is spectacular.

I now have leather, yet I frankly miss the Royal Prima Vera velour (which I had in my '88 Brougham) as it was more comfortable in the summer and winter.

I would love to tint all of my windows, but I unfortunately live in Illinois where tint is not allowed on the front windows. I traveled to get my car in the south, and it came with tinted windows... I was up here for 2 weeks and got pulled over twice for the tint.... so I scraped the tint from the front windows... not a job I ever want to do again! I cant wait to get out of IL... I believe this is one of the most horribly run states in the union. On another note... I love the white leather... that is the only reason I liked my car so much... white leather is kind of unusual. To me it just screams 80s decadence!

I like window tint thats the same all the way around. I had 66% all the way round a white car and it looked nice. I think having two different tint shades throws the car off. Something like 50% all the way around would look nice on this car.

The cam is definitely a GEM, I wouldn't give him all that money for it however though. I have never seen the manual recliner on the seats, thats pretty freaking awesome!

mine has both power and manual. it's weird, you can power adjust the seats to a point but also has the little pull thing to recline all the way back.

2 different shades I like because it can allow you to get very dark in the back that you cannot legally get in the front. However I have an 84 Cougar that I did 5% all the way around on. You cannot see a thing when I roll by, that is how I like it. Any tint about 20% I do not like because its almost as if the window is not even tinted, as in you can see straight through it!

Thank you for the compliments. I considered doing the fronts but I think I will leave them as is. I live in IL as well, but I can get a prescription for tinted front windows from my eye doctor because my eyes are overly sensitive to changes in light, so it wouldn't be illegal. Getting just the backs done makes the whole car look even larger and more stately.

I am also trying to avoid having my car look like its owned by a gang banger (way too many of those around me). I guess I am going for more of subtle mafia look. I just wanted to do something to give the car a little edgier appearance because all stock it was a little bland for my tastes.

The Lincoln is next for tinted windows. It will be getting them up front (probably just 25%, 15% in the rears), just to give it that edgy mystery as to who is behind the wheel when I blow by someone. :D

John, love the tint job on your '90! Looks sharp as hell! Did you ever think about putting the wire wheelcovers on it? Outsider, the velour d'elegance seats look awesome, I'd much rather have the cloth than leather....they're so soft and comfy!

Oh yeah, I forgot that you haven't seen it yet. No wire wheel covers for me. The wire caps belong on the darker colored cars and I like the way the dishes look on mine. They are close to the same color as the lower body moulding and they actually shine up pretty nicely when they are clean.
