A friend of mine really needed a new car, and since I'm moving next summer and not taking my Deville with me, I sold it to him.
I've had five and a half years and 60,000 miles of memories with the ole blue beast!

Some pics from when I first bought it:

I'll sure miss it!

How much did you sell it for? I would have offered a pretty penny just for the wheels! I've been looking for a set and they're pretty hard to find with the center caps included.

Yea those chromey lace wheels do look nice on the 89-93 body styles, I've been looking for a set as well.

Not too fond of those whale bodies but that one is exceptionally clean looking...I like the color too.

I gave him a deal at $750. The wheels have been through a few salty winters since those pics were taken, so they're not as shiny anymore.
I lost one of the center caps last year, and I never could find an exact replacement. So I know what you mean about being pretty hard to find!

Wow, that was one exceptional looking '94 deVille. Is that black or a deep deep navy? Saddle colored leather interior?

It was a dark blue with dark blue interior. Great, since my favorite color is blue! :)

$750? That is one clean car for $750. I love the resale on these cars. It means as long as I still have a set of hands and a set of tools I can afford to drive in luxury even if I never do become wealthy.

That's a great looking car. What are you planning on replacing it with?

I gave him a deal on it. I probably could have sold it for twice that. I bought it in 2004 with 94k miles for $3,500. So, yes, used luxury cars can be a great deal!

Nothing yet. I just got the Escalade, and my STS is running great, plus I have my motorcycle. So I'm good for vehicles for now! I wouldn't mind a CTS-V though! :cool2:

That's a nice color; I think it's the same color as my Concours.

Ahh, the joys of having what any normal person would consider "too many vehicles." It's nice knowing that you can have some variety for the morning commute.
