Hi, I'm Vern, and I'm a noob,

I've been a BMW forum user for years and have found you guys, now.

Glad to be a part of this group!

My wife has a 1999 Catera and we love the car. Got it 1-1/2 years ago dirt cheap and we've gone to Vegas with it a few times.

With your posts, the car is already a greater pleasure to own:)

Having trouble related to ground 201 behind the I/P and more than likely, relay
K134. Will report back :yup:

TIA

Vern

Welcome to the forum, Vern! I am sure you will find plenty of useful information in here. Do some searches on you problems and you will finds the answers to your questions. We are here to share and help.
As far as the K134 goes, take it out, disassemble and look for or any connections that need to be soldered. Usually that's all it takes.
Have fun,
Aras

Thank you, Aras,

That is all it was... reflowed three joints and cleaned the relay contacts.

That cured the fuel door, trunk lid, shifter knob and dead radio problems.

Wish I could bring the radio display back...it's dead

I am sorry, but I don't have a solution to the display problem :( It is possible to install an aftermarket radio if you can't live with that one anymore :)
