It turned out to be that some of the spokes were loose to the touch. I ran my fingers across them and sure nuff the dam things were clicking away. I noticed it when my car was rolling along side a wall where it was easiest to here it. Hope that helps Big Tone. carnut 09-20-04, 10:35 PM Remove the hub cap, dab black silicone to each spoke nipple from the back side.Wheel side. That should secure the spoke to the outer rim. Where the cap touches the wheel, you ussually will find surface rust. clean the rim and put a light film of wheel bearing grease at those spots, not too much! it will sling out as driven! After applying the black silicone, let it dry overnight. The black silicone is what you normally use to secure gaskets. Works great to secure small emblems and loose moldings as well. Surface must be clean and dry just like a gasket surface. | |
