: Base Seats Great Improvement

I know there is a lot of dislike with base seat bolster support..i had the same dislike..yesterday i had 1 inch foam added to my seats bolstering and a massive improvement i might add. This is a none invasive addition also. I had our local auto upholstry guy ed colms to do my seats...he took out the seats, went up from the bottom and added seat cushioning to the thigh bolsters. Looking at them u cant tell anything has been done..maybe just a little bit higher, and the great thing is it can come back out if u dont like it. Going around turns there isnt nearly the movement as before like having to hold on to the steering wheel..comfort is the same maybe feels a little bit stiffer. The best i can explain the difference is to sit on a leather sofa, rock side to side, then take a folded towel and place it along both legs and rock side to side. This is a good feel for the difference. Hope this helps for now..until recaros are avalible for swaping.

Thank you! Looks a little bulkier and would give good lateral support.

I'll testify to them being much improved. Not quite the buttery goodness of the Range Rover but much better. :)
