If that Buick existed I'd snap it up! That thing oozes luxury. Its old and sexy at the same time. I'm looking at the pic from my phone so it might look better/worse on a pc screen fwiw.

The rest of that thread has some pretty nice concepts too.

What do you guys think of this?

That should be the Lucerne. That one just gives the same impression he deVille gives me, while the Lucerne just looks cheap and weak.

Drop a little of that rear overhang and extend the rear seats and I'd be all over that.

LWB Zeta platform, please come to the U.S. Otherwise that would just end up on Epsilon II and be another grannymobile. I mean, sure, Buick drivers aren't necessarily sport-inclined, but every luxury brand needs a sport sedan. Seriously.

Photoshopped Camaro? Not bad.

Sold in China as the Park Ave, I always thought it would be cool to sell it here as the Electra (SWB) and Electra 225 (LWB). It probably would have worked out better than the Pontiac version.

The more I look at it, the more goofy it looks. The front end is disproportionately big to the rest of the vehicle. Wheel/tires too big as well. JMO of course.

I'd like to see cars get longer, lower, and sleeker with longer rear decks. This fake coupe stuff is getting old.

See? Perfect. Though I don't think Electra would be the name for that. That should be the Park Ave. here too.

Not fond of that Impala design at all. It looks like a 300C on acid.

That Bel Air is sexy though. Not sure I'd revive that name though.. it's been gone a long while now. But that DEFINITELY is something I would drive/love to see on the road.

meh, Park Ave sounds kinda grannymobile-ish to me. It might even lend itself to the self-fulfilling prophecy of becoming a ubiquitous taxi cab.

I do like the Roadmaster name, though.

:yeah: What happened to trunk decks that open more than 3 feet?

True. Roadmaster would be an even better name for it. Hadn't thought of that.

I like it. Very sexy. You're right, Buick needs a Buick like that.

I think the simple "Buick 225" would be an awesome name for that car. I normally hate alphanumeric names, but nothing says "big Buick" like deuce and a quarter. They should even advertise it as the "deuce and a quarter"

I would so buy a big RWD V8 Buick if it had an LS series V8 motor under the hood. I love the CTS-V, but something about a vast, oversized, slighty understated luxury car with enough power to blow the doors off of most other cars certainly has its appeal. Cadillac had it almost right with the RWD V8 STS, but it needed to be somewhat larger and the Northstar is an inferior motor compared to the LS series V8's.
