Anyone know why Cadillac chose to delete the Blue Diamond color? And whether or not they will be adding any additional color choices in 2010 or 2011 model years?

Thanks in advance.

Well, I never saw it in person but I thought it looked nice on my computer. I hope they add some more color choices for 2011.

Thanks for the replies.

Will probably be the one worth the most cash years from now.

Nope, the V1 was never released in green, that would actually hurt it. More like the Stealth Gray V1s.

IIRC a couple of those Forrest Green one's showed up. Someone posted a thread about it, I can't remember, but there were pics of the door jams, engine bay, ... it looked very factory.

I thought Blue Diamond was a smoked almond brand.

There you have it. The rarest V combination will be an '09 Diamond blue w/ manual transmission, no sunroof, recaro's, non-polished wheels, creme interior AND no navigation. Probally one was never even made in that combo

I swear I saw more than one green one too. Someone had pics of the engine bay, jams, everything....and it was an LS6 car too with proper Brembos and all. Not saying it wasn't painted or converted but thought I saw more than one Green.

I love the rare and unusual colors. My S2000 was one of 205 made in that color combo. When I ordered my 99 C5, if I had been smart I would have ordered the blue FRC (<100 I think), and I recall the Aztec Gold 98 C5 (<20 made I think), and the Bowling Green C5 also in very small numbers.

When I ordered my CTSV in March I looked at the color palette and decided I did not like the pale blue color. But had I known it might be very rare, I would have considered it just for that reason.

I would really like to see production numbers by color, hopefully we can get that data sometime.
