Came off a 555 CI Cummins i believe. No shaft play and is in good shape.

Exit compression intake tube.
Inner Diameter: 2 7/8"
Outer Diameter: 3 3/8"

Intake outer tube Inner diameter: 4 7/8"
Outer diameter: 5 7/16"
Actual intake for turbo Inner diameter: 3 1/4"
Outer diameter: 3 5/8"

Waste inner diameter: 4 3/8"
Outer diameter: 6"
Exhaust intake inner dimensions: 2x3"
Outer dimensions: 4x5 1/4"

Bolt holes are 5 1/4" diagonally from each other.

i already have 9.1 pistons :bonkers: http://www.texasoffroad.net/albums/lonestar/album92/IMG_0413.jpg

Cummins turbo diesels usually come with Holset turbos I think. Is it a Holset and anyone know what model it is? If its a Holset, it's gonna be hard to find a compressor map to tell you how well it will work with a 500 without paying the turbocalculator people.

i could get it for a hundred bucks plus shipping and i dont know enough about them yet to know if i should jump on it, those are the specs the seller posted

Hell as long as it's in good shape I'd pick it up for that price even if it's not gonna work with a 500.

But as for "will it work on a 500," try asking the seller for a pic of the plate with the info on it, or at least the model.

The turbo in the picture looks like it came off of a NTC855 or some other heavy duty diesel (tractor - trailer) engine. It looks a little too serious for an automotive gasoline engine.

If it's off a 555ci diesel, a 500ci is pretty close to the size engine, but generally will take less boost than a turbodiesel but require more air because it turns a higher RPM.

Can't really tell but it doesn't seem bigger thanSean's turbo (http://www.***************/album/albums/userpics/10067/normal_cad%20coupe%20turbo%20progress1.JPG).

Edit: Screw you sal or whoever blocked the site I'm trying to link to.
