Tiger Woods was driving an Escalade. Isn't he Buick's spokesman??

During all this controversy, I'm surprised nobody else brought this up yet. :D

Yeah, I caught the Escalade bit during the first "film at eleven" segment. I quess it's another example of give me your money, but don't tell me to give up my bling!!! You'd think for the millions Buick is paying Tiger for his endorsements the least he could do is drive a friggin' Buick! Another one bites the dust!

I didn't know Tiger and Buick had split, as an old Californian saying goes, "no tickee, no washee!"

Yeh, I wondered the same thing,I also bet cadillac was sweating for awhile on the chance the blame would be aimed at them for a defective
gas pedal, floor mat or something.

Curious that Woods was driving an urban assault vehicle like an Escalator. I had him figured for a little more class than that. (BUT, he has a wife and 3 (?) kids - you have to put them somewhere - at least it's not in a KIA !) What does she drive ?

So you all believe that a zillionaire only has one vehicle? That Escalade is probably one of a dozen.

He was probably driving his wife's Escalade ..... seems like most of them are driven by women with small children. Or maybe I should say small women with babies. I would bet there is also a Mercedes or two in garage also. And ofcourse there are the cars at the other homes I am sure Tiger has around the country. Man the overhead of being the most famous athlete .... look what it did to Mohammad Ali> The "Champ" went through several fortunes over his career and ended up down and out in Las Vegas! Gotta watch that overhead Tiger; those alimony checks will really cut into the old cash flow!

Its on the news here at every news break, everyday. They finally fined him with careless driving and gave him a $160 ticket and 3 points on his license.

The local talk radio station - Real Radio 104.1 - is having a field day with this.

In its day the "rich Corintian leather" was pretty nice compared to what was available at the time. As for what Ricardo drove, he probably had a Cordoba in his garage and probably used it as a daily driver. They were really pretty nice cars back in the mid 1970's. A few years later Ol' Blue Eyes actually drove his light blue metallic 1981 Imperial coupe. As did Gregory Peck and several other Hollywood types of the time.

Rather, I should say Chrysler was lying about it.

Whats the difference between Tiger's Escalade and a golf ball?

He can actually drive the ball 400 yards and not hit anything.
