if you got an answer to this i would like to know as mine is doing the same thing it used to go off and would only come back on when i hit a bump in the road that jarred the car, i thought it was just time for brakes and went out and spent $120.00 on a full set of porcelain pads (less brake dust and longer ware) only to get the car home, take off the wheels and find out the facroty set of brakes still looked brand new there was no ware at all either on the brakes themselves or the rotors. the only other problem is that my front struts need replaced and the site favorite for this seems to be the boston suspension replacement struts. I will have new ones really soon but i doubt this is the cause of the ABS light staying on all the time. i will update my post if i find out differently later.

Been awhile, but here's what happened. The lady was almost dry in the M/Cylinder reservoir. There was so much trapped air underneith, I hadn't had one that hard to bleed in 15 years. It was wierd. THe air found a home under there.. I just got a nice scanner since that one, one of the snap-ons with all the OBDI & II and the foreign, dmestic, trans, all the OBD II keys. It's nice.
I can't find the CAM sensor though on a 4.6
I guess I'll try looking from underneath. THis one also has bad oil leak, owner thinks Pan gasket. theres a nice long day.

oh i almostb forgot. When I was filling the reservoir, it woud drain a little slow throu the strainer. Then when It was above the bottom of the strainer, I went to crack the bleeders., After The air was finally out, I went to top off the fluid. I shool the reservoir but couldn't tell the fill line. So I pulled out the strainer, It was almost empty again. THe strainer was so plugged, and the plastic so smudged, you would think it was full if not over full. The res. sensor evidently tripped the light, but the Sylenoid was most definitely off center to the rears. Now to find that darn CPS.
