i was wondering what the actual differences were between the coupe and phaeton coupe ?

Simulated Convertible Top on the Phaeton and some unique finishing mouldings to finish it off & wire wheel discs.

you got pics, i have 78 with a half ragtop style. is that considered a phaeton?

No, the 80's Phaeton Coupe deVille was a FULL LENGTH, vinyl top whose covering was made of a cloth weave texture. Car came is 3 colors:
Silver
Copper
Whte
The Silver had a black Top, the Copper had a Dark Chocolate Brown top and the White had a dark blue top. All came with simulated wire wheel covers.

I have a 79 phaeton. Copper, simulated rag top and the wire wheels. It needs new paint and the roof needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Those darn wire wheels never go on and come off right. Its a nice car.

There's also one recently posted in the classified section. Good looking cars.
