Anyone know a good place I can order some "seat covers" or like self install reupholstery (if that exists) for my 69 calais? I really need to have the seats reupholstered but I'm having trouble finding anyone around here that does that kind of work. (in southern maine...)

Any help or advice?

It shouldn't be that hard for a Calais, as long as you go with an all-vinyl interior in black or light flax, which were the optional upholstery for this series. The pattern is very simple. The bottom seat cushion is vertical strips about 1/2" in width. The upper seat cushion has the strips to about 2/3 of the way up, then its just one big slab of vinyl. Even easier, I don't think the Calais sedan has a center armrest in the rear. So, any competant upholstery shop should be able to do this, and for not much money.

The seats should look like this:
