Anyone replaced ball joints on a deville before? I have an 86 but its the same as the 90's with most everything, except engine of course. I was told the ball joints were riveted in?? Anyone have any info on replacing these, i have read all kinds of forums about other cars or trucks but they are all pressed in joints. Im assuming the rivets being replaced with bolts should be easier, not?

It's a straight-forward job. Nothing strange about it.

Not sure if you got this done yet but it is straight forward. The best method I found was drilling from the underside passed the head of the rivet then with a bigger drill bit drill out the head and pop the rivet out.:thumbsup:
