and the winner is the Ford Fusion, very long article:

Nice to see GM do well with both the Camaro and LaCrosse making it as Finalists, along with the redesigned Mustang; the Taurus did not get a spot on the Finalist podium.

Good to see the domestics kicking ass! Too bad it wasn't the LaCrosse or Camaro, but the Fusion has a much wider market than those two. But I will say, when I get older and think "what was THE car of '09?" the Camaro will be it. That car is awesome!

I have driven a Fusion and it is a very nice car. Good on Ford for winning and GM making it to the finals

Fusion ad came on television JUST as this thread loaded. That's some clever adsense.

I kind of like the styling of the Fuz, especially the latest model, although I've never been in one. I mentioned to my college-age daughter that this might be a good car for her and she said it was way too boring. I think she wants a Mustang.

The Fusion is nice, but it can't hold a candle to the winners of 2008, 1992, 1952, and 1949.

Malibu? That was the pick for 97. And actually, someone tried to pay me $5000 to take his 97 Malibu; I didn't bite.

Wow, now that I remember it, it was the car of '97, it's weird to think those were ahead of the time then, but it goes to show how far Chevy has come since then.

No, I meant '10 Malibu v. '10 Fusion, which would you rather have?
