Hello, Newbie here from Texas. Just bought a 96 Fleetwood Broughm for my son. It's really nice and Green. The only things that needs attention so far is the power atenna (broke in two) and the underhood light doesn't come on. Also daytime driving lights may or may not be working. Need to take out and check that out. Son is really anxious to drive the caddy but I'm waiting to get paid to get registration. I look forward to helping him get this car back on the road.

I'm pretty sure 94-96 Fleetwoods don't have DRLs.
Post some pictures when you can. :)

says so in the owners manual
Does anyone know where I could get a sales brochure?

Daytime running lights were standard equipment for 1996. For any information about the options and features regarding the 96 Fleetwood Brougham, go to motorera.com (http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/cad1990/CAD96F.HTM).
If you plan on doing some of the repairs yourself, you should consider a Factory Service Manual (http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=1996+cadillac+fleetwood+service+manual&_sacat=0&_trksid=p3286.m270.l1313&_dmpt=Motors_Manuals_Literature&_odkw=1996+cadillac+fleetwood+service+manual&_osacat=0). The problem with the under hood light is probably the bulb and the replacement bulb number should be in the owner's manual.

Ah, only standard on '96 right? Because I know the 94 doesn't have them, there was a topic about it somewhere....

Welcome, and he has got himself one hell of a nice car. The antenna is super easy to do because its in the trunk.
All GM cars received DRLs starting in 1996.

Welcome aboard, you'll find the people here very helpful & knowledgeable. Also, congrats on you & your son's excellent taste in automobiles! Texas is one great state, my '89 Brougham was born there :)
