Every now and then at night the High Beams will engage by themselves, has anyone else heard of this before?

K9Caddy 11-08-09, 12:34 PM Yep. it's called "intellibeam". It's a feature that comes with the Escalade unless you purchased a 2010. They will turn on high-beams under low light areas and then self dim with on-comming traffic. BTW, the feature can be disabled if you'd like, read up in your owner's manual. divots2000 11-08-09, 02:35 PM i think if you want to disable that feature the auto button is located on the rear view mirror K9Caddy 11-08-09, 04:05 PM To disable the feature just take the beam selector switch off "Auto". suprego123 11-08-09, 06:48 PM Also, to disable the feature, turn on the fog light. Banned 11-08-09, 09:26 PM I love this feature!!!! evil0ne 11-09-09, 01:35 AM Huh, very weird. It never used to turn on before and recently in the neighborhood it will sporadically go from high to low. I'll check it out more closely. hcvone 11-09-09, 08:28 AM Yep. it's called "intellibeam". K9Caddy 11-09-09, 09:35 AM Sorry... I got the two confused somehow. I'm just glad I grabbed an 09. hcvone 11-09-09, 12:04 PM Don't scare me like that, they are taking away enough things. :( | |
