So someone wrecked my Eldo for me about a month ago and have bought another 1996 ETC. Minor differences include plain wheels, no heated seats, no sunroof, stock stereo. I have the chrome wheels on order, gonna miss the seats (the girls loved that), i'm ok with no sunroof, and I have the BOSE stereo with all the speakers sitting in my closet.

I'm guessing it would be pretty easy to just stick that in. I dont have the cd changer, so I would need one of those all the wires and plugs, and I am wanting to try that mp3 player thing where you solder wires and stuff...wish me luck! I'll post picts of my progress :)

You MAY need a dealer programming for the BOSE - they're part of the TheftLock system and the original vehicle VIN is set into the memory.

Yeah, I spent a few hours studying N*'s tutorial. And after careful consideration, I prolly will go with a double din Clarion NAV unit. I want nav, sat radio, ipod etc...and they make great units.
