I have been having some problems with my 95 STS. I have been getting a lot hesitation and bogging and the fuel pump seems to be fine. I was told that my PCM could be faulty do to me having a bad heater core leak. Now I do know that i need to get a PCM with the same service number on it and take the PROM out of my old PCM and put it into the new one. Is there anything else I need to do? Any help would be appreciated, I've had this car for a month only and has been nothing but problems.

The first thing you need to do before throwing money at the car is to read the sticky thread at the top of the main Seville or Northstar Performance pages titled "How to pull codes". Read the entire post, get to the directions for your year system (OBD-I), and use your car's built in code scanner/reader to read the Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Write them all down (if any) and return to the post for a link to the definitions of the codes - you'll want the link with "obd1" in the URL. Click on the lines in the index to decipher the various P,B,C, and U codes.
