the shop im taking my car to guy says he "legally" cant put a x-pipe in place of a resonator and that Now to pass inspection i'd need the resonator and mufflers to pass inspection??? :bomb: i've spent so many hours reading pages and pages to come up with a decision of going with the x-pipe to dual in/out mangaflows to tips. and right before going to place the order, for the guy to say He cant...:confused: is he bs-ing me cuz he doesnt wanna mess with it (old geezer/small shop/closest to my house) or cz i really cant do it in tx...? or should i just go to another shop or is he right and i'll get the same answer anywhere i go?

where in TEXAS are you? i had a V exhuast installed with Kook's kats and magnaflow muffler's and they never had any quarrels about my setup. i would try another shop if i was you
