The front struts on my 96 Eldo are shot. I am thinking about replacing them with some aftermarket struts, possibly just a little bit stiffer. I will probably replace front and back if I change to stiffer struts. Any suggestions, or any brand to avoid. Thanks in advance, you guys are always great help.

OEM only from what I have found.

AcDelco part numbers for the front.
580-106 Left strut
580-107 Right strut

Suncore or Arnott might do aftermarket parts, Monroe do not do them.

Thanks for the info. I found a pair at Strutmasters for $397.00. It says it comes with 2 struts and new springs already to bolt on. With directions to disable or bypass the air ride funtion. Of course it would need a front end line up still but I could probably install them myself it appears. Anyone ever used Strutmasters? part # CAD FINSP-EL Thanks, Newman
