Hello all, I did my fog lens this summers, and how the entire front side of the car is orange-free and crystal clear! And it looks awesome. Anyway, I was curious if it's possible to remove the front emblem and replace it with one of those crystal/grayscale emblems? Has anyone done this?
Another thing is that the orange side marker is bothering me. I was wondering if there's a guide on how to remove it and replace it with white ones, or should I just not even bother and tint it instead?

They have clear side markers on eBay. And their very easy to remove. As you know with the fog lights, you have to remove the wheel well. Or at least remove a couple of the tabs just to get your hand inside. You can feel the housing for the bulb, which just pulls off. Then there is a part on the lens that you push together and the push the whole thing out towards you. I forget if it's on the top or bottom side. But you'll see it on the set that you get from eBay.
As for the emblems, not sure where to get them. But I would use fishing line or as such to remove it.

If you want to remove the eblem you should use a heat gun or hair dryer. I used a heat gun and it came off very easy.

Hey agp, if you do end up getting the clear or smoked side marker lenses from ebay, please post a pic after installation. I too have a silver CTS and I still don't know what would look better on silver, clear or smoked...
Definitely... I think I'm going to order the clear ones and install them around Thanksgiving, which is the closest time I will have some free time. I'll post pictures of the final product. And I'll probably write a guide too.

might not be worth the time/money but, you should talk to a vinyl sign maker if you seriously want a custom emblem :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
