So here is an odd one...

So we are alomost out of warranty and will likely have this car for another 3-4 years. I shopped GMPP but the prices are really high. My dealership alluded me to the fact that Chrysler Service plans will quote and cover other products. I looked into it and their plan is pretty superior.

They call it maximum car and they basically say, if its mechanical, its 100% full coverage. the plan looks like a bumper to bumper plan with 1st day rental coverage (no diagnostic wait bs like GM), UNLIMITED mileage and so on. I'm super intriged. My quote for 4 years with a 200 ded is 1985. with 100 ded is 2635.

Has anyone hds experience with Chrysler (on the service plan). My biggest worry is what if Chrysler goes sinanora the way of the classics such as AMC, Packard and the like... They say the plan is reinsured but... I also confirmed that I could have it repaired at my dealership

Any thoughts... i'm thinking about taking the risk.. no one can come close to the price or the coverage.

I bought my GMPP thru the vendor below:
http://www.gmoutlet.com/gmpp.htm

Price was discounted and they have positive reviews on this site.

I remember seeing a site or link on the posts where you can post your make and model and GM dealers would bid on the your price for gmpp. I'll see if I can locate it and post here. I had not heard of the Chrysler option you mentioned.

I went thru Dan Vaden Chevrolet in Georgia fir my GMPP extended warranty on my 2005 SRX. They matched Black's (gmoutlet.com) price, and didn't charge the $49 handling fee. No sales tax either. Best price I could find. Some states do not allow dealers to discount extended warranties, Florida for one.
