Took my CTS-V to the track tonight to see what it would do with the mods.

11.90 first run
11.78 2nd
11.77 3rd

Needless to say I'm a happy camper :)

Only mods are wait4me 9" pulley, 4" air intake and performance tune.

When my car was 2 days old and bone stock it ran 12.49

It's an auto car and i had the transmission in sport mode and I pressed the traction control button twice.

I had a few "warm up" passes in the 11.90's and then decided to drop the rear tire pressures to 24 psi and my times came down to the 11.7's

My exhaust is untouched.

The only mods i have are the 9" pulley, 4" air intake and the tune that comes in Jesse's hand held programmer.

I got my best launch at 1500 RPM and had to roll into the throttle to prevent tire spin.

I was still getting a bit of spin on the 1-2 shift. I think with some drag radials and a more powerful launch I'll see 11.5's :thumbsup:

7 time slips total and all in the 11's. Damn you gotta love these cars :banana:

Do you know what the density altitude was? Those are some great times. I was thinking about a 9.5" pulley, but I'm gonna go with 9" now for a little more margin of safety. 11.7 is exactly where I want to be.

I converted the Z with an RPM built 4L65E automatic. Best money i ever spent on that car.

Running a Vortech supercharger at 7.8 psi boost. 735 RWHP. More soon to come :D

19's in the front and 20's rear. I'm running the ZR1 PS2 tires on the street.

For the track i have some MT drag radials. Just had some skinny's made up for the front so looking forward to trying them at the track.

i nearly passed out after seeing that vette. any details on that vortech kit. i have a v2 sitting in my spare room, just looking for a way to use it.

But I had a Camshaft package from Vette doctors with all the boltons and a 100shot of N20. I got a 135mph trap in that badboy. Man the Z06 was one hell of a car. I need to get another one...

Great times on the V! I was only able to get a 1.85 60' if I remember correctly. Pulled off an 11.8 but I have the bigger pulley than you. Hopefully my car on a good day with a perfect launch and drag radials/slicks can hit 11.3 or so.

hmm i thought i replied but i don't see it.

if the car wasn't abused, done and maintained professionally, and had low miles i'm def interested... esp since mods are less than .50cents on the dollar in resale (unfortunately as i've been on the selling side of that fence lol)

so far i've found a z06 twin turbo that has about 760rwhp with low miles.

We had a track rental day today and i have a new personal best with my CTS-V
11.60 with no other changes. Only modifications are wait4me 9" pulley, 4" air intake and tune from the hand held programmer. This is still on street tires :D
