Why ruin the ride of your caddy with such a big wheel. Take a look at detroittireandwheel.com and search for some larger cadillac factory wheels for your car. An 18" wheel looks really nice on your body style and there are plenty of factory options for that size. Just my 2. submariner409 11-04-09, 11:14 AM 18" tops.............Take a look at Deville wheels in www.wheelcollision.com for pictures of what was offered - click on the image for a larger view. Remember to keep the same 5x115 bolt pattern and as close to the OEM offset as possible to preclude suspension problems and excess tire wear and fenderwell rubbing. Your wheels index on the center hub bore, not on the bolt circle. 98CADDYDVILLE 11-04-09, 10:11 PM My brother has a 2005 DTS on 20"s and it still runs as smooth as it did with the stock 17"s. I dont know how it will effect it in the long run but it sure does look nice. 22"s are to big and you will have to do some kind of custom job to prevent rubbing. IMO I say you go with the 20"s thats what I have on my 98 Deville. V-Eight 11-04-09, 11:26 PM Neither..........Anything bigger than an 18" wheel will ride extremely rough. Not to mention they look awful YoungGun21 11-05-09, 12:31 AM Choose the size and style YOU like. You will have our opinions reguardless. I drive an '02 DeVille on 22"s (245-30-22) and yes a real thin tire it is. No, the backroads are not all forgiving. I live in an area where most of my driving is HWYs and Interstates. Ride suffered minimally, at least compared to my thoughts. Take in consideration of your daily driving routes and driving style. Vouch for sporty 20" so you can have style and performance. Just think, some "big bodies" rollin' off the assembly line come factory with 21" wheels now i.e.(BMW 750iL, Audi A8rl, Bentley GT/Spur) with comfort. 98CADDYDVILLE 11-05-09, 12:37 AM Choose the size and style YOU like. Very true, I have gone through 2 rims because of pot holes (20"s) and about 5 tires because of flats (mostly nails). Go with your style but just remember the bigger the rim gets, the more expensive it will be and to replace. DevilleDeeman 11-05-09, 04:06 PM I have 18" DTS rims on my '03 Deville right now and I notice a bit stiffer ride compared to the 16" OEM rims. I couldn't even imagine the ride you would have with 22", it would feel like an '87 Camaro Iroc. V-Eight 11-05-09, 07:36 PM Without the badass Kcguy 11-06-09, 04:32 AM I agree, neither. Don't destroy such a beautiful car. 18's are what I'd stick with as well. Anything more and it looks retarded. Yuben Pimpslapt 11-11-09, 05:27 PM I've seen 20, 22, 24's on 00-05 Deville/DHS/DTS and the 24's are too big. The guy had to cut out some space to fit those 24's. As most have said, it's YOUR car so whether it's pink with purple polka dots (please don't do that :)) or ridin on 22's, as long as you like it, that's all that matters. If I were you, I would pick up those new Vogue's they released last year. They come in 20 inch and with a good wheel, that would be a great tire to match! I think you have two benefits, a great look AND VOGUES! If you do decide to rim up, post some pics! Fantasy Toys 11-12-09, 11:46 AM You can do up too 22's on them with no mods provided you have the right size tire. You can run a 255-30-22 tire also with minor mods if you want a little more rubber to the ground. Rim wise you want to get something 22"x9 or 22"x8.5 with right around a +34 to +40 offset. Ride quality will not decline much but struts will only last a 3-4 years because of the added abuse to the suspension. godsdiablo 11-13-09, 02:29 PM 20's if you want an OK ride, 22's will ride rough and you might rub when you drive up a driveway.
