Hey,

Oredered and rec'd ignition coil cassette from rockauto, got the one without the module, used one from bad cassette that was in the car. Removed bad one and installed new one, after hooking battery back up, I inserted key, ran diagnostics and cleared all. I started car up and it sounded alot better and that nuisance "check engine light" was gone finally. Have had car since June29, 2009; and have had light ever since I got the car.

Took car on a short trip (5miles) and car is running so much better, I hope and pray that the light stays off. Hope to replace fuel filter sometime this month.

Thanks everyone who resonded to my questions and confusing (to me) problems.

:highfive:

Good to go..................unless you've been burning kerosene there's no real reason to replace the fuel filter unless you have measured low delivery and flow problems................If you do, keep your face out of the way. That filter dumps a few ounces of gas straight down, and don't forget to depressurize the system using the rail Schrader valve (rags under). When you start back up, turn the key on, wait 10 seconds, turn the key off, wait, key on. You have to repressurize the system and the fuel pump automatically runs for a few seconds at each "key-ON" sequence. 41- 47 psi on the rail.
