Hi all,
Need a new exhaust for the 94 Fleetwood. Want the best flow I can get with reasonably quiet sound.
From reading up the Walker Dynomax 17749's boxes seem best favoured. But at 20 inches long, 10 wide and 4 and a half deep will the fit? It seems the originals were 18 inches long.
Thanks all!
regards, Nick

I would think these new mufflers would fit, 2 inches isnt that much, you could probably get under there and measure. As far as sound, its more a personal opinion mixed with driving habits. I'm in the fast lane so I like mine loud, youtube has alot of sound bites from different exhaust and maybe dynomax has something on the website. My friend just got the 88 done in stock and its sooo quiet, I love it. I may switch one of mine back to stock also. But I really dont think you will have a problem getting them under there. two and a half inch exit pipes look good if they go straight out and barely show past the bumper IMO
The perfect muffler for you.

Think of it this way, 1 in in front and 1 in back of the original location.
If you want another good muffler, the Magnaflows are a straight through design and sound wonderful, but a bit louder than a 17749.

Ah Nodih, you're there!!
Yes this was the article I read of my 3 plus hours of research late one night on the board. Geat resource eh!
They will fit - I crawled under with a cardboard template so that's OK.
Now should I stay with the 2 inch stock pipes or repalce the center sections with 2 and a half to match the 17749s? I'm going to keep the stock rear end resonators and turndowns because I want to keep the stock look on the rear end of the car.
