Is anyone aware of meets here in the San Antonio area? Would hate to have to drive to Houston or even Dallas.

Otherwise we can try and do a coffee meet like they do up north. BTW HPDE @ Harris hill this month and dec if your interested, I'm probably going to the Dec one myself.

Biff Buzby's has a good turn out on Friday nights. It's a possibility. The track is exactly what I intend to do. Dec. may be an option. I am doing a little work to the car this month and I want to make sure its right. How much is the track day for Dec? I saw it was something like 225 when they did it in Sep. or early Oct.

I would love to have some kind of meet up, in the hill country area. I live in Austin, but my girlfriend lives in SA, so I'm there a lot as well. A couple weeks ago the Valet at Sullivan's Ringside said he parked a silver 2009 CTS-V that was as loud and as nasty sounding as mine is. That wouldn't happen to be one of you guys, would it?

Mine's silver but I don't remember going to Sullivan's. I can meet in SA or Austin anytime during the week, I work Weekend nights. We can all try and go to the HPDE on the 19 dec...... best fun I had in a long time in my car on a Saturday. Last one I went to their was only 2 American cars, Vette and my V. Couple guys brings out the 997/911 Gt3 RS's, lots of fun....

I can meet in Austin or SA or anything in between. Hope you make Dec HPDE, I've already paid so I will make it, unless work doesn't let me. I haven't changed wheels or tires, my PS2's were wearing on the outside in the front so I did an alignment. They are now wearing evenly and still have a lot of life left even though I'm at 9K miles.

Thats odd you would say that your fronts wore funny. mine are hard to tell because the tires are stretched over the rims. They are borderline and I have yet to see many people with this problem.

I've read about a lot of people with tire wear issues due to alignment slightly off. Since the PS2's are so "soft" I marked the tires at 90 degree intervals from tread to side wall to see how far from tread into sidewall they wore. I also have a tire gauge to measure wear since the day I got it. I found excessive wear on the outside edge and found out after alignment that the fronts had to much toe.

Week before is the absolute latest I would wait due to need of tech inspect and available slots may be thin. I would just call to see how many slots are available each week as the date draws near.

Did you take the car to the dealer for the alignment or did you think better of it and go elsewhere? There are countless places that can do alignments, but I have a difficult time trusting anyone.

I took mine to the dealer once I actually showed the service manager the abnormal wear. Hard to refute when you can actually show them the problem.

Im in the Bryan college station area, can meet in SA or Austin- I guess I could do any of the meets as I'm centrally located to Dallas and Houston too.

Saw a silver 09 with a blonde female today on 35S toward downtown San Antonio. Anyone???
They arent doing anymore until spring or you won't be able to make one until then? My car happened to spring an oil pan leak. WTF? parts had to be ordered and can't get worked on until next week. My poor car has been in the shop more than the law allows. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come. 8500 miles and all kinds of madness now.

Where did you get your V at? I figure the weather would be an option for Dec - Feb, cold and wet usually.

Saw a Black V parked at the court house in New Braunfels of all places.... I guess I'm not the only one here in this small town with one. I also saw a ZR1 so I guess their are some nice cars in this town.
