(hint: above pic shows it clearly) i noticed today that it came out a bit (like it opened or something) from the bottom. i closed it, drove back home and when i arrived i saw it open again! There is a recovery hook that can be used to pull the vehicle out of a ditch etc. There is a location on the front and one on the back bumpers under the cover you mentioned.
