Well i am looking to lower my 2004 CTS 3.6l V6
unfortunately i have the fe3 shocks in the back and going to need different ones to make the drop work.
i plan on ordering the,
Eibach Pro-Plus Kit (Pro-Kit Springs & Anti-Roll-Kit Sway Bars)
yet like it says,
Vehicle equipped with self-leveling rear dampers must replace with non self leveling dampers to properly.
From what i hear i can get Fe1 shocks or Fe2 shocks if i am correct.
(correct me if i am wrong)
Does anybody have them for sale?
or know of a website where i can purchase shocks that will work for this job.

you can also use Fe4's as well...

also, have you checked to see if you have the modifiable Fe3's?

fe4 are also load leveling, they will require some modification as well.

fe1 shocks provide a softer ride. I think the fe2 shocks will somewhat match the ride of your fe3 shocks without the load levelling so you can install the lowering springs.

The fe4 shocks however are from the CTS-V and have an even sportier ride than the fe3.
