Opened up the new Dec issue of C&D and saw the supersedan comparo on the cover, went right to it and read the first page and the second, went to read the third and nothing, my magazine was missing 20 pages. Magazine quality sucks. Thin and missing pages.
Off subject, a friend took me for a ride in his wifes new M5, 6 sp manual. Coolest seats. They sense high g turns and a lateral bolster pops out of the side a the seat to cup you in for high g turns. One of the best exhaust notes I have ever heard. She is coming from Stealth Grey V1 (and not even 30 yet).
Anyhoo, if someone could scan the results of the comparison that would be great!

My old roomate had an M5 and I did think the seats were pretty cool, but he also mentioned as some with recaros have that they are uncomfortable for long trips. I'd still take'em though.

PS. I bought my V2 at 29, without boobs!

The V came in second to the Mercedes E63 by a couple of points. The writers mentioned that the only V2 press car they could find in Europe was a standard transmission - all the comparos (Jag, BMW, Mercedes) were autos. Writers indicated that the 0-60 and 1/4 miles speeds were quicker in earlier tests in the auto-tranny CTS-V and that those scores would have probably put the V into first place but the manual V's 0-60 time was 4.3 seconds and the 1/4 mile times were way off too.

The Mercedes has the automatic side bolsters too...and yes, the M5 has a very, very sweet exhaust note.

Was the same driver used for the test?
