Have a 06 STS with 17" stagger wheels. I want to replace them with a 18" after market rim. What would be the biggest size tire I could put on the new rims without having a problem with them rubbing on the front. Also what offset should the new rims have. What is the offset on the stock rims.
Thanks

also do u want staggered again. i heard u can get 10" on the rears and 8.5" on the front. I havent tested 10" on the rear but I dont think that much tire is needed for everyday driving.

Don't trust Discount Tires fitment guide....bought a set of Chrome 20's for my 2006 Honda Pilot and they recommended 275 tires. They rubbed, Wound up doing the research and discovering that 255's were as big as I could go. Discount was good about the swap, though; they only charged me the difference. Check out www.1010tires.com for a great tire size calculator.

No I don't want to staggered again I want the same tire and wheel size on all 4 so I can rotate. Also what offset should I be looking for?

should be on with 35-40 offset, but double check with a pro who does it for a living.

255's fit all around, OEM. Bigger may, too.
