After a little delay, got my new wheels and tires installed. Originally wanted to get a set of VCT Scarface 2 wheels but those were on forever backorder. Ended up getting a set of Boss 315 wheels in the 18" chrome variety. Wrapped some Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires (245/45) on and there you have it. Also had to get a set of wheel adapters (5mm thick) for the front since the front wheels pressed up against the brake caliper and the wheel would not spin. Pic may not be the best since I took it with my cell phone.

Looks great! And the white diamond is on point. Got 18s on mine. Looks perfect for now. Want 20s for aesthetics, but afraid the ride will suck. Got a friend with an 03 CTS on 20s and it feels like you are riding on rocks all the time. You feel everything! Granted, alot may have to do with her shocks on their last leg (93k on odometer w/ OEM shocks) but I'm not sure if I want to take that plunge just yet. Keep er clean!

Kids and their "bigger is better" mentality on wheels! :)

I wouldn't go with anything bigger than 18s myself because of the poor ride and easily damaged wheels. I much prefer a functional vehicle that rides decent vs. rubber bands that look good and ride like there's no shocks. But I guess that's what makes the world go around.

yea needs some 20s, looks cheap with the chrome. Maybe if they weren't chrome and were a simple design it would look good, but that just screams baller on a budget.

my friend put the same rims on his 05Lincon Aviator in 20" ...they looked ok but needed at LEAST 22"s for a truck like that....the next summer he didnt even bother putting them on. he was disapointed in how they looked too small... but he had the money to go bigger...truck was paid off and only 1 year old at the time. good job + parents had money

we all know this is a preference thing whether it be 20s, 18s or stocker's...for those who say 20s ride rough, i would be more than willing to give you a ride in my car and for you to tell me it isnt as soft as your 18s or stocker's...i tried 22s first on my CTS and that ride wasnt for me, decided to give 20s a try and it fit me like a glove. so to the OP, if you like them who really cares, cause you are the one who paid for them and the one who looks at them everyday...

The lip is about 1.5" so nothing too big. the wheels don't stick out that much. I think I may get a set for the rear to match as it fills out the wheel well nicely. the only thing i don't like is when using tire dressing, it sprays on the car more since the wheels stick out just a few mm farther. the car rides 100 times better than it did with the old GY tires which I'm assuming were the stock tires with 30k on them. had to use the countersunk lug nuts to make sure there was enough thread being used and the tire shop did mess up a few of the studs but had them repaired at no cost to me from using regular lug nuts at first.

If money isnt a concern, Then I recomend 19's Thats what I run, nice ride, great look and perfect size (same as stock circumfrunce) But they are more $ than 18's or 20's..

i agree with McPolo, if you have the money then 19s are the way to go. my only problem with 19s, is they dont have the options that 18s or 20s have. McPolo has a great set of rims there, but i have yet to find many more 19s that look right on the CTS.

i would rather 19s over my 20s actually...they seem to look like the stock size should have been 19. now yes, when you compare a 19" rim to a 20" rim the 20 will cost more IF they are the same make model and finish.
same with tires... you can get a 19" tire cheaper than the exact same 20"tire as long as they are being compaired to the same make model tire.
here lies the problem...
19" is a little more rare so usually only higher end tires and rim manufactures make 19s which ends up costing you more because you have better quality products.

to the op , the rims do suit your car, just everyone on here with 20s says buy 20s, everyone with 18s says buy 18s.
i had 18s for a season, i liked them they looked great on the car, but im just more comfortable on 20s.... i thought the car would be ruff but its not....also i sold the 18s for 3 or 4x what i paid for them lol and that covered most the cost of my 20s
just make sure that what you buy is what you like and then thats all that really matters. personally i like your rims.
