maybe this question cannot be answered, but i'll shoot anyways. on a normal street car, say a cadillac, during a street race, what does, say 5 car lengths ahead of the car you race equate to in tenths of seconds?

any input would be at the very least interesting. illuminaP.

it depends on how fast you were going, so if u knew that it could be done. because going 5mph and 50 mph there is a big diff in time. but not distance

this was from a standstill to about 60 mph...it was a 2001 3.8 liter mustang w/auto. i had him by about 5 1/2 cars to 60. it seemed impressive to me, but not real sure. my car has been tempermental lately. i have mods done to her, but she can be a bitch to me too.

i'd say a second or 2 maybe 3, but im no mathematician, but when you do the 2 second rule ur maybe that far away if closer.

either way you won, as they say in the gayest movie of all time. "weather u win by a second or 1/4 mile you still win" thats probably not exactly how it goes but what ever.
