Searches aren't very clear on this. I know there are people that have done it, but my question is 'how'? I have an 04, and I know where the amp is. I've taken apart the console, and I see the amp with the two wire harnesses plugged in.

Is there an amp bypass wire harness that I can get? Will the door chimes and all that still work if the amp is bypassed? I'm thinking about maybe trying to install a powered woofer in there if I can remove it successfully. I've measured and yanking out the factory amp and that bracket that covers it would give me a space that's about 3" high and 10" wide.
