You can test it by getting up to speed, keeping your foot on the gas, and stepping on the brake lightly at the same time. The switch that turns off the cruise also unlocks the TC. You should notice the RPM go up a bit. In a Caddy, it will be pretty quiet, of course, so you can verify TC lockup/unlock by accessing the tach function in the HVAC display. | |
