Hi All,

1. Fronts are P235 50R18 and Rears are P255 45R18. When you rotate the tires, do you do them from side to side, or front to back?

2. Is the speedometer sensor at the front or rear tires?

Thanks,
Chris

I have read that you can,,, but I wouldn't rotate them at all. Certainly don't think putting the rears on the fronts was ever part of the "plan"....

If the tires are directional then no rotation is possible (without actually remounting the tires on the different wheels). I suppose if the tires were not directional you could rotate left to right but I don't think it would be worth the effort.

If I'm not mistaken the speedometer sensor is attached at the transmission and speed is extraculated by rotation and by using the gear ratios. This is why when using tires of different diameters the speedometer will/can be inaccurate (depending on the amount of difference from one tire size to another).

Not sure about the speedometer sensor but there is a wheel speed sensor in each wheel.

I think the Vehicle Speed Sensor is at the final drive of the transmission. Software option changes are required if changing the final drive ratio. Wheel speed sensors are just for ABS, Stabilitrac & Traction control.
