Just enter the make and year and you can see all that year's color chips with their correct names.

There are 2 shades of Beechwood Light (mine is done in one of those two) -- which I can't figure out, but thank you for posting that :)
The website itself has some helpful info also!

Refer to the "Sticky" at the top of our forum for the REAL Cadillac names for the colors of our cars. The scans of the color charts appear on about page 2. This resource referred to above shows generic color names and not the actual colors for Cadillac. Again, refer to the FAQ at the top of our forum to see the actual color charts from most of the favorite model years and you'll see the genuine Cadillac names for the colors and the actual color codes. FYI :)

Thank you for the above info, I'd no idea that finding the right name could get that tricky :holycrap:

Sorry to have to disagree with you, Dave, but the actual names are listed under the color chips, along with the corresponding factory color code. I checked the 1964-1969 and 1977 color numbers and names listed on the site against the sales data books' color chips. They all match up.:yup:

Chief of all Chiefs 77CDV - - you're right that the 77 colors mostly line up in the information you furnish above but for my year, and many others including my 79, the colors are not lined up in your information: my color 54 in your bible is inaccurate because it gives the chevy and olds name "light yellow" for my genuine Cadillac name "COLONIAL YELLOW" so I still say this resource you give reference to is semi-accurate but if you're anal, like I am, refer to the real thing in the STICKY above with actual scans from the REAL THING color Cadillac Factory Color Charts and you'll be sure to know what CADILLAC referred to these colors as. Do your homework before proclaiming.......... :) :) :) :)
