Hows it going? I have a lighting problem I could use some help with. When any switch, high beam, seat controls, windows, horn, you name it my lights go dim. If I have the criuse control on (when it works:banghead:) and I run the windows up or down it kick off my criuse.??? Any help would be great. John
Poor battery ground circuit. The battery grounds to the engine then the engine grounds to the frame. Make sure all engine to frame grounds are clean and tight. Follow the battery ground cable to where it attaches, remove it, clean the area and reattach. Most engine grounds are braided wires that go from a valve cover to the firewall or from a stud on the engine to the frame. I assume you've had the charging system tested? by that, I mean a load test to confirm the alternator is producing at least 40 to 50 amps under load. The alt. has its output stamped on the case. It will be 55A or 80A or something close. That number means that under electrical load, it can produce 55 amps or 80 amps.
