Why is there now a tweet board icon on the left of my screen that wont go away. is there a way to get it to permanently dissappear? this just started but is annoying stays mid screen at left border.

Interesting thing happened today. I now have an ad tab on the side of my browser that is from this site because it comes up only on the forums. I sat watching this for almost a minute waiting for it to load.

I don't know if anyone else is getting this ad but it is extremely irritating simply because it places itself over the page. I don't mind ads as long as they are out of my way or all in one place (such as the bar of them on the right) but an ad that pops up on top of the page with no way to close it is ridiculous.

I got the Tweet icon and killed that, but I don't see whatever it is that Dirt Cheap is talking about (thankfully).

I am getting it too. This one has to go Sal because it is right on top of the browsing window, hovering over the left edge of posts.

It's really bullsh*t that the tap is there, being annoying as hell, and can't be used unless you have an account with Twitter. There should at least be a way to close it, if only temporarily.

*EDIT*: This is pissing a lot of people off. Even those who pay Sal for the privilege of not having to see advertisements, are getting tweets.

Hmmm, is it me or is this damn tweet thing gone now? I just signed on only to find it gone, I actually wanted to see it on my computer. I saw it earlier on my iTouch while at work, and when I would scroll down so that I could see the message that it was covering it up. The Tweet would just stay at that spot, so I could never read that word or two.

But now, 1 to 2 hours later. It's totally gone, both from my iTouch and computer(not that I seen it). Either way, I am very happy as most if not all of you are happy to see it gone.

I only got a Twitter account because I needed one for work and I use it very little. The Cadillac Twitter feed on the right hand column does not appear to be a problem. I even started following Cadillac (if you use Twitter, you know what follow means in this context).

The Cadillac fan (?) site on Facebook is pretty nice, however. Lots of videos and photos. It also has a new, more textured version of the wreath and crest that looks very sharp:

I'm glad to see this has been resolved!! I ran a full round of malware, adware, spyware, u-name-it scans yesterday thinking it was coming from my end!
