I have a V1, and will be looking for a V2, but my price point is below where we currently are. I wanted to keep a thread where we kept track of the best prices for used V2's.

So far found a Manual 09 with 24K miles for $47,999

I'm buying a V in the next week, and I've looked everywhere for new and used V's. The used market has not yet adjusted for the insane pricing on the leftover '09's. $11,000 off of sticker is pretty hard to beat, and I'm willing to pay another $3,000 for new vs. used. The $47,999 you've listed is the cheapest one I've found anywhere to this point. We'll see if the pricing of the few leftover new '09's will affect the used value significantly or not.

I was having problems with the chart I tried publishing above, so I added it to my site. Take a look at ctsvparts.com, go to navigation at the top left and choose used pricing.

As some have mentioned, a few of us have bought new ones near $50k so not much reason to buy used anywhere close to that. They should be low $40s later in 2010. I would buy new for a great bargain or remain patient. The bottom line now is the car is really cheap new for what you get so the upside of buying used is diminshed unless you just can't afford it.

You can get a new 09 CTS-V for almost the same price as a used one, so what's the point?

Scott will locate one for you and hook you up for sure!

Im in the same boat as most of you, looked at gettin a new v2 which with most discounts was at $58K but I think I'm gonna wait till I can find a V, manual, with nav and recaros for 45K. Hope I dont have to wait too long to find one at that price.

I took a look and emailed you back. Shoot me the final price of the car I specified in the email, and I'll let you know.

I've been searching around and most seem to be around $53-58K used still. I've seen the deals being listed on here and online, but so far with the options I'm looking for most price out to about $58K at the lowest. I'm not sure where everyone is finding them for near $50K new.

Problem is I do not qualify for the Lease incentive ($4K) and I don't know how you qualify for GMS pricing? And I've been pricing it with NAV and Recaro's.

You have to be an employee of GM or know someone that is that is willing to give you their number (only during certain promo periods). Supplier pricing works the same way (you only have to work for a supplier instead).

You can get supplier pricing just by being a member of a credit union. I use Pentagon Federal Credit Union for their 3.99% financing, and it only cost me $25 to join since I was not a member of the service. www.penfed.org You submit your basic info online with GM, and they'll issue you a supplier # in minutes.

Ah. Very good info to know. I'll have to check into the Credit Union route. Thanks

We can get you supplier pricing right now if you are ready to buy. Employee for friends program comes and goes on a whim, so I don't know when it will be back, Supplier is Easy.

I didn't know they were leasing the CTS-V, or had any lease incentive for it. What are the qualifications / payments?

I wanted to lease one, but they weren't leasing at the time and the payments would have been around the $1300 range, which for a recent college grad is a little much. I had planned on buying one in the next couple years for $30k- ish. But if they are leasing, I might have to re-think this.
