View Full Version : HID fog lamps 250motorsportz 10-24-09, 01:29 AM Hey guys, guess its nothing new but just wanted to post some pics of one of my customer's EXT fog lamps. Looks good, but is slightly blue-er than the factory headlights. I would say a 4300k or 5000k will match really good. pics show that they match good but you can never get the exact real look of projectors.
6000K 35w H10 HID kit for reference. 250motorsportz 10-24-09, 02:25 AM sorry guys, here's some pics.

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3330782&l=71f0291851&id=693131866 It looks good. What brand did your client go with and was it an easy plug and play? 250motorsportz 10-24-09, 03:22 AM Its my company brand. 250motorsportz. It was a simple plug and play install. Had some difficulties finding a good place to mount the ballast but then found a flat spot next to the turn signal housing. Looks good, I went with 5000k on my one 2007, but all the other are non HID, just changed the bulbs, only use them in the snow. I got 5000k as well Hcvone. However I dont know what the deal is because at night anytime I pass people on the hwy (same side) the person who is then behind me now flashes me. I dont know if they think its because they think i got the high beams on or if there is excessive glare from the fog lights thats essentially blinding them.
Dixit If you do put HID's in the fogs you have to adjust them down lower because they will blind oncoming traffic, and I know people getting pulled over for their lights being aimed too high 250motorsportz 10-28-09, 12:40 AM how are they adjusted? alb0zf1n3st 10-28-09, 10:39 PM http://www.d3vnull.us/esco/DSC00078.jpg
Here is a picture of my Esco in NYC ... I went with 8k fogs and changed the stock headlamps to 8k as well. Brand is Texon... I never adjusted my fogs and always have them on at night. Hcvone could be right, just saying I never have and I won't lie, I whore up the streets because I love my truck lol.
Heres a video if anyone likes to see also I made the other night just bsing with friends after I installed Corsa Sport Exhaust
http://www.vimeo.com/7243596 I use the Pilot Automotive / 9145 and H10 45 Watts Xenon Replacement Bulbs. I think they are a very good match to the stock headlamps. K9Caddy 10-31-09, 04:54 PM Which model Corsa exhaust is that, touring or Sport? alb0zf1n3st 10-31-09, 05:11 PM Which model Corsa exhaust is that, touring or Sport?

ESCALADE26 11-01-09, 12:40 AM what's a good brand for fog lights that will match the stock headlamps? can anyone provide me with a website.... DRIPPED 11-05-09, 05:13 PM How much are the fog lamps and where can i get them????? 250motorsportz 11-10-09, 03:06 AM I sell kits starting at $150. A fog lamp kit for the Escalade would be $150 canadian for a slim ballast full kit. However, it'd probably be better for you to go to some vendors, or other recommended online sellers. Im not too sure of the websites. ebay isnt too bad either, just make sure you get a kit from a reputable seller. DRIPPED 11-10-09, 02:32 PM cool....i found a kit online for 80 bucks....its the 6000k...thats a good price right? roccos_van 11-10-09, 04:00 PM cool....i found a kit online for 80 bucks....its the 6000k...thats a good price right?
You need to buy a kit with a relay harness, those cheap ebay kits don't include them and you can and probably will start a fire in the factory wireharness and of course the factory cpu will have some fun with it too buy giving error codes galore. DRIPPED 11-12-09, 05:32 PM Ok thanks for the info bro ESCALADE26 11-13-09, 08:50 PM can anyone please provide me with a website where i can get a good pair of HID Fogs for the Escalade. can anyone please provide me with a website where i can get a good pair of HID Fogs for the Escalade.
