: DTS wheels on an Altima? Photoshop request.

Im doing a 5 lug conversion on my Altima soon. Its a fairly easy swap. Just need the hubs and a couple other things from the '89-'94 Maxima and new bearings. I can even use my stock Altima calipers.

Im doing the conversion because i wanted to run 300ZX wheels. But, me being me, i got to looking at the DTS "blade" wheels, and thought about what theyd look like on my car.

The DTS bolt pattern is 5x114.3 and the Maxima hub is 5x115. Im pretty sure that will work, right?

Can someone please Photoshop the DTS wheels on my car or this other "Google Image" Altima? It would be greatly appreciated :highfive:

Well, i am a Cadillac enthusiast, to the point that i have a tattoo. I was raised on Nissan's and now own one. So why not do something different? I think it'd look cool, and would sure as hell be unique.

Youre new around here. This kind of question from me is not exactly out of left field. Im known as being sort of an oddball. :cookoo:

Well, here's the (lazily) finished product.

If you'd have found a picture of the wheels actually on the car it'd have a more natural light. I'm feeling too lazy to put that all together myself (plus I haven't photoshopped in a good six months or so).

Enjoy:

That said, if it had plain chrome center caps, it'd be pretty cool I think. Those are nice wheels.

I think that statement requires photographic documentation lol.

I believe that it's there. I just want to see. Wreath and Crest or Cadillac script?

Thanks for the Photoshop. And C-Berry is just short for Casselberry, a small suburb or Orlando. It was coined a few years ago by the young crowd. I went as far as to have a license plate made. I guess you could say im rather passionate about my interests...

Got this back in '06. I eventually want to put a background behind it and get it filled in with green(i know, i know).

What? No! Color it!

And oh, nowhere near me. But you could definitely come to the epic Florida meet that I'm putting together in my head (for now; seriously though, eventually I'd love to do one)

Ive been to a couple meets. We've had them at Old Town in Orlando and in Tampa.

This video was taken by Night Wolf at the Tampa meet back in '07. This was back when my '85 looked and ran halfway decent. Bah. We were supposed to race his 307 Olds-powered Brougham against my HT4100, but he took his Town Car instead.

Yeah, I wasn't around for those :(

Hopefully I'll have my car ready for the next thing that happens. :)

I wish there was a way to disable the traction control on the Eldorado and get it to break the tires loose enough to smoke them like that, just to mess with people. That is a good looking car though. And whoever did your ink work did a good job. Some color would really make it stand out.

The wheels sure should be an upgrade from black steelies!

Hey Jonas,

You'll need a hub centering ring if the bolt pattern is even slightly different- they'll wobble like hell if you don't. I also figured the steelies in your picture are what- 15s or 16s? Considering the turbines are 17", I re-did the Photoshop to a slightly better scale for you. Didn't get the perspective quite right, but you get the idea.

Yes! Thank you so much. I really appreciate your time. If anything, this just strengthens my idea.

Im going to the junk yard later this week to get a radiator for the Sage Sled and to see if they have any old Maxima's that i can get some hubs from.

Im sure i'll post some junk yard pics. LKQ in Orlando always has a plethora of old Cadillac's.

Aren't those DTS wheels in the same 115x5 bolt circle as most other Cadillac wheels of the same year group ? The stud size is 12x1.5.

114.3 is a common aftermarket and Euro-Japanese pattern.
