I just bought grandpa’s 1991 Brougham (RWD) what a cream puff. The door lights come on, but not the map lights on the roof. The bulbs and fuses are good. The door lights come on when I open the door. The dome/Map lights don’t come on when I turn the pull out headlight switch all the way to the left. The interior door lights come on but not the overhead Map lights. Pushing both of the buttons on the Map light doesn’t work either.
Any help, it’s driving me nuts!

I think I know what the deal is. I've had this issue with two of my Cadillacs before. The switch that you push up on has a tendency to get gummed up. And even though you push the button, the little contacts in there never fully come back down to make a connection.
Try removing the the assembly from the roof, and then taking the switches out. The clicking part is some type of cylinder with black and white plastic parts. You should be able to pull it apart carefully. Clean out any grime, and maybe put in the WD-40. Also stretch out the springs so they are springy when you put them back in. They tend to compress over the years. Reassemble and it should work. Just the disassembly and reassembly made it work for me. A '91 Deville and a '92 Brougham, both had that problem.
Good luck!

The owner's manual has a list of all bulb sizes.

I've had the similar problem. I often have to press on them two or three times to get them to go on or off, lending creedence to the excellent words of My_Favourite_Brougham.
